A Berlin-based non-profit dedicated to spreading the principles of liberalism, open society, and individual freedom — locally and internationally.
EnCompass e.V. is a registered non-profit association based in Berlin, Germany. We are committed to spreading the concepts and values of liberalism and personal freedoms — within our society and far beyond its borders.
We believe that open, free societies flourish when individuals are empowered through access to culture, knowledge, and free expression. Our work brings together artists, academics, journalists, and engaged citizens who share this conviction.
We pursue our mission through four core areas of activity, each designed to strengthen open societies and amplify the voices that sustain them.
We support artistic projects and cultural events that champion freedom of expression and bring liberal ideas to life through creative work.
We produce and support content across print, digital, and broadcast formats to broaden public understanding of liberal values and open society.
We organize educational events — open to practitioners, academics, students, and the public — that foster critical thinking and civic engagement.
We support writers, researchers, and scholars whose work advances knowledge of free and open societies — providing platforms, funding, and networks.
EnCompass e.V. welcomes individuals and organisations who share our commitment to liberal values and personal freedoms. We offer three types of membership.
